Virginia-Miami Should Be a Great Game

UVa needs to stop its surprising slide. But Miami doesn't look like a good team to snap back against.

As I said a while back, I'm glad we play Miami at home this season.

I'm just ready for Saturday to get here. It's been a while since I've been as excited between games for the next game as I am this year. Honestly, probably would say since 2009.

I can't imagine the Hoos losing 3 in a row but The U is pretty legit this year. I had a feeling this time would come for the UVa program. They've been really good. They've been winning over the past few years with defense. But they had that one dynamic playmaker in Anderson. He's gone now and everything is falling on Brogdon and Perrentas. Both of those guys are really solid. But neither are game changers. And you just can't keep relying on defense. Bennett is awesome. But he's just not equipped this year. It wouldn't completely shock me for UVa to fall out of the top 4 in the ACC this year.

When it comes to the world of college basketball the ACC is brutal, brutal I tell you. UVa takes two lumps to the head and before the swelling subsides they must face a good scrambling helter skelter team in Miami. Damn. Life's a bitch. Better them than us.

One thing is certain, if we can manage to be 12-0 before facing the evil empire, as another thread suggest, it will be a phenomenal feat. Here's to stomping MooU into mud puddle.

We have 3 wins over current top 10 teams (Nova, WVU and Miami). We're not as good as we've been the last two years but we've got as good a collection of wins as anyone in the country.

False.
1) Those aren't all current top ten teams
2) I could put up teams like us, Dook, Marlyland, MSU, Kansas as having better wins. Or look at BPI, RPI etc. Those sort it out. Are you #1 in BPI / RPI?
