Visiting North Carolina first week of August

Going to be in Greensboro for like 4 days. Any suggestions besides Hops? Anything kid friendly to do?

Looking for ideas.

And yes, Hops is good. I don’t think it’s the greatest burger in the history of the world like that yelp review(?) hyped them up to be but they’re good and have a nice beer selection. The sweet potato fries are damn tasty too.

You can get some real NC BBQ at Stamey’s BBQ. You are a short drive to Winston Salem where you can visit Old Salem.

Winston Salem has a team, as does Burlington (rookie league).
Might be some other teams within driving distance.

The 'boro has a really great science/nature museum. Natty Greene's has some great beer.

Greensboro has a great greenway for bike riding. I think you can rent bikes at the county park on the north end of the path.

Go to NC Zoo if not too hot

Emerald Point Water Park (you know, for kids)

Science Museum is really good

Drive an hour to Chapel Hill and go to Planetarium, wander campus, basketball museum, etc

Tube the Dan River or Hanging Rock (good hiking and a swimming lake) also about an hour’s drive- maybe a little less

Go hang out with @toophly1124 and have Ms. Tooph make you some Pho
