Vote For Drake!! (ESPN/Nissan Heisman)

Drake is now 5th on the list...if we can get a few more votes, he can easily be bumped to #4, with a bunch more we can move him to #3 pretty quickly.

Stuff like this is nothing but a popularity contest. Anyone that can't see Drake is the best quarterback in college football is blind or don't want to see it!
The entire BT area will vote for Stroud, with some votes to Blake Corum. The SEC votes will go to Hooker, because nobody thinks Young should win it again and nobody thinks Bennett has a shot even to be 4th.

From the standpoint of ability and performance, I don't there is any question that Drake should win it. Unfortunately, not those things but politics will probably determine the outcome.

Football politics, yes. One of the things that the ACC office has never truly learned is how powerful football polltics are. If, for example, SC were not announced to leave the Pac, the entire Pac set of former Heisman winners and Pac journalists would be on board to vote for Caleb Williams, because SC is the darling of Pac football. But SC leaving the Pac means that now Pac votes will be split between Williams and Nix.

The ACC has never seen a groupie of ACC voters whop vote for viable candidates from the ACC because they are from the ACC. That disadvantages ACC players.

He shouldn't be #1 after tonight. Bad play calling, but Drake had several bad throws and reads.
