VT downed by ECU.

ECU 5-0 against the ACC in their last 5. The Pirates just seem to have a chip on their shoulder when they play the ACC teams
That and the fact that VT once again is playing at QB a fairly good general athlete who is not a college quality QB.
Beamer needs to retire before the program he built gets mired in mediocrity. That goes double as UVA is now highly likely to get a new HC for 2016.
Love seeing VT get beat. I believe the QB for ECU that led them to victory was a UNC commit that could not get into UNC because of academics? #1 reason I don't want to play ECU, not playing on an equal playing field. How many academic rejects from UNC and State go to ECU. Sorry, but that is a joke.
James Summers from Greensboro? Yes, indeed...academic non-qualifier at UNC....it is as if those 13 syllables strung together mean that matriculation at EZU is mandatory.
Summers would not be starting for us, but Haynes and Russell are another story. That pair would add a nice jolt to our D.
But here is what I think the staff should take away from us losing all 3 to admission standards: a fairly large number of talented players who will have real interest in UNC cannot get admitted. The more time, energy, and money we put into those players, the less we have to put into recruiting players who can get admitted.
Every FCS and almost every non-power 5 team we play admits players we cannot get in. Please don't use that excuse , it just gives the ABCers ammo to call us whiners and a certain moron that used to coach at moo used that excuse...cough...cough ...Chuck... cough..... Amato
