• Armando Bacot had 14 points and 20 rebounds, his 10th consecutive double-double, the longest streak by a Tar Heel since Billy Cunningham had 10 in a row in 1964-65.
• That ties the fourth-longest double-double streak in UNC history.

• Bacot has two 20-rebound performances in the last five games and two in the last three games at the Smith Center.
• Bacot has two of the five 20-rebound games in the Smith Center (Sean May had three, Bacot had 22 vs. Virginia on 1/8).
• Leaky Black made two three-pointers for the first time in a game this season and first time since he had two against the Hokies in last year’s ACC quarterfinals.
• Black scored 10 points, a season high and the ninth time in his career in double figures.

• Caleb Love scored a game-high 22 points, the sixth time he scored 22 points in a game this season.
• Carolina is 8-0 over the last two seasons when Love scores 20 or more points (6-0 this season).
• Love had a game-high five assists (against two turnovers which he committed on back-to-back possessions). UNC is 10-3 this season when Love has more assists than turnovers.
• Carolina shot 39.4% from the floor in the first half and 33.3% in the second, the first time it won when shooting under 40% in both halves since winning at Miami on 1/5/2021.

• Brady Manek scored 12 of his 15 points in the second half. He made three 3FGs and has made 15 in the last five games (multiple makes in all five games).
• Manek had three assists and has 15 assists in the last five games.
• Manek moved past 1,700 career points (1,707).
• Bacot’s 20 rebounds moved him past 700 career rebounds (714).

• Black had three steals and has 102 steals in 102 games in his career (29th career game with multiple steals).
• This was Carolina’s 10th straight win holding the opponent under 70 points, the longest stretch since 2006-07 (25 in a row).
• Carolina shot 40% from three (10 of 25), the 10th time this season UNC shot at least 40% from three, but the first time in four games. The Tar Heels were 12 of 58 from three in the previous two games.
• Sophomore forward Dawson Garcia was unavailable. He is returning home to Minnesota due to an illness in his family.

• Carolina is 33-6 against the Hokies in Chapel Hill, including 8-1 at the Smith Center. UNC has won the last eight times the teams have played in the Smith Center.
