• UNC has won 10 games in a row, the ninth time in Roy Williams’s tenure as UNC’s head coach the Tar Heels have won at least 10 games in a row.
• Carolina returns to action on Sunday, Jan. 24, at Virginia Tech. Game time is 6:30 p.m.
• Carolina shot a season-low 37.9 percent from the floor against NC State and followed that by shooting 38.4 percent tonight against Wake Forest.
• The Tar Heels shot 26.5 percent from the floor in the second half (9 of 34), the worst percentage in any half this season and the fourth-lowest in a half by UNC in Smith Center history.
• Carolina had a season-high 15 steals, 10 of which came in the first half that led to 17 points off turnovers.
