Wanna know what's like living in a chimney?

Try living here in the Upstate. The fires are making it miserable here. @chick_bleeds_carolina_blue , @uncboy10 , @tazki , and any others... this sucks, doesn't it?

I hiked the Pinnacle Mountain Trail on October 29th. Now, it's burned-up. 2,200 acres so far. And, evacuations at Table Rock State Park and Pickens County. Not to mention the fires burning in WNC. I would imagine @mikeirbyusa is affected in Brevard.

The smoke all over the area just hangs like a fog. We're being advised to stay inside because the air is so smoky. I'm not afraid of losing my home to fire, but the smoke in the air, EVERYWHERE, is terrible!

We need more rain... bad!

Its been an exceptionally dry and warmer October/November along the mid-atlantic states . .

Hope they can get that under control . .

A lot of places i'm very familiar with from growing up in asheville and living in the upstate have burned. We frequented table rock a lot as well as lake lure.

It's worse today than any day so far. It literally looks overcast, like rain is on the way, but the sun is shining brightly... we just can't see it.

Still have kin folk in Brevard, have not heard from them on this. But heelbent is correct. I'm in the big city of Denton now.
