Olson got the start and I don't recall seeing Simmons. What's the word?

not sure but overall i think this was the best WR game we've had this season. maybe some chemistry was built last night and hopefully it will pay off down the stretch

Maybe he is, and maybe he got benched to allow other guys to get the snaps. Whatever it was, I'll take it. The WR corps looked better than it has all year.

Of course, Hamilton was out, and he might have destroyed most of what looked better among our receivers.

Mack is going to have to start taking bigger classes from now on. Either via recruiting or the portal.

Kids from UNC, Miami, Miss St, Illinois, Houston, Southern Miss, LSU, Vandy (4 star kid), UCF, Kansas State, Wiscy, Marshall and Tenn have hit the portal since the weekend.

Are there just as many kids from other schools already in the portal?

I gotta feeling that the portal "escape route" will only last so long before these kids realize that they're not playing because they're not as good as the people that are playing their positions.
I don't know the exact numbers, but there's plenty of kids in the portal. We aren't the exception.

i’ve seen some…it seems like injury always sets you back, obviously, and then it’s competition at the position(like you said).

in some cases, like rattler at oklahoma, he’s just lazy…i guess i’d understand his move because williams is just better, but rattler was the golden ticket just a few short months ago…not even sure it’s official with him, but a kid that heralded isn’t going to be a backup.

i believe mack when he says it's related to the bye week one-on-one discussions

maybe this isn't the right thread for this post but at least longo benched a couple of guys who weren't producing and doing their job and did it without having a prime candidate to replace them. wish bateman had the guts to do the same

Bateman is playing Des much less, he benched mcMichael for #2 from cali, and he yanked Jaquirious Conley from the entire second half... so he kinda has done that.

Has Des ever played that much? And it seems like McMichael was hurt or being disciplined. Who was the nickel when Conley wasn't in? But yes he did some of it.
