Tonight was the 2nd game that I’ve attended this year and both times I’ve really liked watching Roy enjoy himself. First off, I think that it is extremely classy for him to give Hubert space to operate and not sit near the bench. His spot off in the corner, where the team comes out of the tunnel is perfect. He is close enough to the action, but far enough away to let Hubert do his thing. I noticed tonight that the girl who provides stats at every timeout was handing them to Roy as well, which I thought was pretty cool. He’s watching the game from a fan’s perspective, but still wants and needs the same info as if he were coaching the game. I think it’s great that he can finally relax and just enjoy the game as a Carolina fan. God knows that he’s earned it!
