No one is giving us a shot and when you give UNC no chance, UNC usually responds. I do not feel that positive about a match up with Arizona.

The only source of optimism for me is that the big 12 is way over-rated judging by their performance in the tourney. So maybe wisc just looked good cause they played a weak schedule.

Same for us. There's a very formidable, Top 5 team that has been dominant all year that we have to beat.

I am glad to see all the enthusiasm leading-up to the game. I just hope that after the game the same ones (and the ones who alays show-up after losses) don't drench the board with endless threads about how we suck, the program sucks and Roy needs to be fired.

Personally, I am not expecting UNC to beat Wisconsin, let alone Arizona. I'm usually much more optimistic, but I think it would take a miracle to beat Wisconsin. I'd actually prefer playing Arizona first!

Yeah . . . let's just face it guys, we really have no chance at all. That Williams guy can't coach, can't recruit and is too scared to ever call a time-out.

It's a race to see which this team is gonna have more of . . Turnovers or Fouls.

Our front court is so soft, they're thinking of naming a toilet paper after it . .

Berry, Britt and Paige are the 3 smallest guards in the entire Sweet 16 field, our best one of the bunch has some really bad feet.

We only play one good half per game . .

We can't shoot 3s . .

Just way too much to overcome . . . . oh well.

While you're correct that the Big 12 appeared over-rated and didn't perform well in the tournament (at least their top teams, since OU and WVU are still in it), it doesn't really apply - Wisconsin is in the Big 10.

Point still remains though that they played a weak schedule. 0-2 versus teams in the top 20 this year (Duke and Maryland).

They're a good team, make not doubt, but I think the overall perception of them is a little inflated from what it should be.

Arizona though... that's gonna be a tough one.

Yeah, BUT, problem is we have already played several games without Meeks and the line up was Hicks starting for Meeks. Do you really see that changing now? I wish it would but I know it isn't likely at all. But PT is more important than who begins the game and I do really hope we see a lot of the line up you share with a healthy dose of Theo if he is able to move with that foot.

But, alas, they are in the Big 10 which has already had Michigan St beat Virginia.
