So do all of you guys picking Illinois think we actually lose to them or just fail to cover the spread?

I'm not sure what to think so I err on the side of us sucking...that's how I've been conditioned. Wouldn't be surprised if we beat them by 20 but also wouldn't be surprised if they beat us by 10.
That's how I feel, but I'm too much of a homer fan to pick against my school and team.

Clemson -6.5
Illinois +10.5
Nebraska +3.5
LSU -7.5
Bama -6.5
Chokies -6.5

****in Dabo Swinney. It's his fault Clemson didn't cover. They're up by 7 with like....6:00 minutes left, 4th and 1 at the Louisville 10 yard line. Bro.....go for it, convert it, get in the endzone, and ice the game for you / cover the spread for me. If you don't stop them, they have to go 90 yards to get a TD.....which they wouldn't do because your defense is suffocating them all night.

Instead he plays it safe and kicks a dang FG. As soon as he did that, I told my buddy I wouldn't cover, knowing that UofL would score a TD and ultimately lose by just 3. Sure enough, on the ensuing kickoff, the Cards house it. Ugh, screw you Dabo. This is gonna be a lousy pick'em week for me.

I dunno, THN11 . . . I think I have more blame going to Clemson's QB, Watson, than the coach. Watson was just pitiful at times last night.

I know for a fact that there were at least a couple of bad calls last night that went against the Tigers . .

Speaking of calls, what the heck happened on that last play of the game? I had the game on with no sound as the NFL game was on the other TV with sound. The Louisville QB tries to throw it away before being sacked (it was grounding but not called) and then the clock just kept running. Did they say he was in the grass and thus it was a sack? Only thing I can figure.

And you are right, D. Watson was very average last night. Wish he could've played like that against us last year

I switched from the Louisville game once I knew what the final score was going to be over to a baseball game. No idea at all about that last play . .
