High school prospects slated to visit UNC this weekend were forced to re-arrange their plans because of the snowy and icy conditions in North Carolina and the mid-Atlantic region, THI has learned.
UNC confirmed to THI this evening that all of the visits have been postponed and that the program is trying to move as many as possible to a Sunday-Monday visit, as the weather is supposed to clear sometime late Saturday afternoon.
THI earlier reported that C.J. McWilliams, a 3-star 2016 safety from Miami who has committed to Florida but remains open to taking other visits, was supposed to be in Chapel Hill this weekend. That trip was postponed and he's visiting Miami instead. However, UNC is working with McWilliams to get him to visit Sunday and Monday.
Some of the other prospects that UNC is hoping to re-schedule are 2-star safety Daniel Thomas of Montgomery, AL, and K.J.Sails, a 3-star safety from Gibsonton, FL,
The prospects are all members of the class of 2016.
Stay with THI for any new information of further visits.
