Welcome to the hill BRANDON ROBINSON!

Welcome @Brob_4. "Robinson said he feels UNC is the best place for him academically. Also mentioned Hubert Davis and his NBA background as a big factor." I feel it's just a matter of time before Hubert Davis is the #1 recruiter for this staff outside of Roy.

Interesting he mentioned how him, Bradley and possibly Lauri could attract Seventh Woods

Brandon Robinson: "I don't think the official did it for me. I think the in-home visit did it for me. Coach showed me his plan and what he thought he could do for me. The biggest thing they told me and caught my attention was Coach said he don't see how good I am right now, he said that I have a lot of potential and he could see me grow and wanted to help me with that. Then Coach (Hubert) Davis, he's a guy that played at that school and played my position in the NBA for a long time, so that's a big thing to me. He can teach me how to get there and stay there."

Shhh! Don't say that publicly...

No, he isn't a one & done guranteed monster talents but what he is means just as much if not more than what he isn't. He is one of those glue guys, one of those fellas that help you win titles and one of those fellas that will play for us for 3 or 4 seasons and we will enjoy his time with us.

Something is changing a little bit in Tar Heel land, we are beginning to add more jump shooters. Look, Kenny, BRob, and Jalek in the pipeline! Hopefully this means we begin to see more scoring from our 2 guard spot, we are really good when our 2 guard spot scores.

I have noticed that in the last few recruits to DSouthr. I don't know if it is something that was consciously done or not. But I am not seeing the scouting reports for these guys list shot under weakness.

Be nice to see guys filling lanes on the break that are a threat to stop and pop.

Seems like an intelligent coaching staff reacting to trends by changing recruiting tactics, play style, and skill sets desired. They seem to be going for more athletic shooters for guards. I'm sure the naysayers will dismiss this as luck since Roy can neither coach, change with the times, or recruit!

Go Roy and Go Tar Heels!

...hopefully something we'll be seeing a lot of in a couple of months from a certain left-handed marksman.

Great to have you aboard Mr. Robinson ! Hope that your time in Chapel Hill will be a great time as well as a great time of improvement for all. Bring that six-shooter, jump shot with you and continue to run the floor like a gazelle. Very happy indeed that you are a Tar Heel !
