I like the mods here as posters, but not so much as mods. Way too tight in my opinion. Let fans go at it and settle it themselves as long as the language involved is appropriate. Editing post and banning left and right from mods shouldn't happen. Hey, it's not my board and you guys can do what you want. I just think it makes for a better environment with more traffic when mods act as officials instead of dictators.

Our mods let us have heated exchanges as long as the language is appropriate and it doesn't get too personal. But if you start a post here with "UNCheaters", you're rightfully going to get banned, just as I would expect to get banned on RR if I call your team "Kensucky". Those threads do nothing but devolve into pissing matches. I used to post over on RR until one arsehole started talking about my mother in very derogatory terms and the mods just let it ride. So I stopped.

IMO, when you visit a rival's board, you should make an effort to watch what you say and not post something that is obviously inflammatory. You appear to want to discuss basketball, that's welcome. We used to have a few UK regulars here but they were run off by a few of our more zealous fans, and that's a shame.

This game would be a helluva title game and if we're lucky enough to get past the Heels, the next two wouldn't be as daunting.

The big problem is that after UCLA and UNC, it's be hard to expect to not have a little bit of a letdown.
