I know if I were looking to negative recruit against us I would point out they have Little coming in next season at your position so why commit to them and sit the bench? I would not mention the likelihood of Little being 1&D and even if the kid did I would suggest you never know and not a lot of 1&D history at UNC.

I still can't understand why Gott seemingly handed over the team to Smith. Was that the deal he had to make to get Smith on board?

That team was much too good (on paper) to crash and burn like that.
