Their coach is former NBA head coach Mike Dunleavy, Sr. Father of the Duke player of the same name.

17 years coaching in the NBA with several runs in the playoffs. Overall a 613-716 W-L record.

This seems to be his first college coaching gig.

The team went 12-22 last season but did pull out a couple of good wins over Stephen F Austin, Memphis and Houston - all top 100 teams.

Their previous coach only had 2 winning seasons in his 10-year coaching career, none recently. Will they do better under a former NBA head coach?

We clobbered them last year 96-72.

They return 4 starters and add only 2 low-ranked freshmen. But they do have 5 guys who are 6'8 or taller. I didn't spot anything about transfers or redshirts.

So they had a decent backcourt last year, which was the reason they were able to knock off some good teams. Half of that duo is back in senior guard Malik Morgan, who can shoot it pretty well (35% from 3) and will command that offense.

They lost their best big man from last season (transferred to UT).

They're a young team that will struggle to score, especially if we lock up Morgan.

We should win this very easily.
