He scored 16 points in the first half, and the man whom he was guarding scored 13 points. Great defense huh? Let's not forget the last 5 minutes with a 30-45 feet bomb from the three point line, along with some turnovers, and missed FT. Granted he kept us in the game the first half, kudos to him. But your praise is over the top, we need Caleb to make better decisions.
This was Love's best game of the year by far.... and proof that when he is on, he is NBA material. However, can he replicate this consistently? Will he cut out the brain-dead, miss simple lay-up plays and wild 3pt shots for no reason? If he does, UNC is in great hands.
Grover have to agree that this was Caleb's better game thus far this year. He needs to continue to improve, and just not show flashes in a pan type performances. Do not want him to have a game where he tried to shoot his way out of bad outing. Most agree that he is an exceptional player, we just need more consistency out of him.
