We're sort of prejudiced, but we do think she is special.Originally posted by UNCWayno:

Just danced after dinner with the wife and daughters. That was smile and laugh worthy for me.
Looking through some old threads
My wife had never seen it; when she watched it the first time I thought she was seriously going to pass out from laughter when Goodman dove out of the car with the briefcase. She completely lost it.Watched this movie last night for the umpteenth time. This scene cracks me up every time.
Was introduced to them a couple of years ago. As a former Gospel Quartet and Madrigal Singer, I love acapella music. They are now one of my favorite musical groups and this song is my favorite Christmas song of all time. I'll play it 100 times from now till Christmas and smile every time.this should probably go into a music thread but I guess it fits here. I was introduced to this singing group Sunday by a group of friends. The last couple of days I can't get enough. If you enjoy good Christmas music(a little bit early) please check these out. I would link but not sure how to. The group is Pentatonix.

Wow, racistA couple nights ago, I wanted to pick up some beer on the way home from work. I decided to stop at a Circle K instead of dealing with the circus that is Harris Teeter at 6 pm.
I brought my purchase to the counter. There were two young black guys, maybe in their early 20s, working the register. The in-store music playing was Twisted Sister. The guy rang me up as the chorus came on: "We're Not Gonna Take It!" I swiped my card.
At that very moment, both of the guys behind the counter shouted in unison with the song, "NO! We ain't gonna take it! We're not gonna take it...anymore!" Completely caught me by surprise. Because let's face it, nobody expects two young black kids to know a song from a glam rock band that came out 10 years before they were even born. I immediately bust out laughing and then they started laughing, too. I walked out the door still cracking up. That made my day.
When our 6 year old was whining this AM about being hungry so we told her to run downstairs and get something to eat...and she thought we had disarmed the alarm. It scared her shitless...as cruel as that was, it's the funniest thing that happened today.
If anyone is a Social Service worker around here -- she lived, I promise. Relax.
Moral of this story -- don't complain about not liking dinner the night before and just eat your food!
That's just mean!!! Lol, have to do it to my gkids!!!!!
Thanks Archer. I had not seen that video. Love the old Jackson 5 stuff. These kids are extremely talented. Have a great Thanksgiving.
