If they chose to "stay within" then some of the poor guys on his bench wearing suits could qualify or any of the few that are actually trying to make a go of coaching, like the all-time loser Wojo or Amaker, the problem is their "system". When it fails it fails miserably but when they are on it often works, so live by the 3 and die by the 3, don't prepare bigs for anything and continue to teach cheap tactics.
He's already got K's sideline demeanor down pat. Only difference is he goes for the toupe rather than the shoe polish.
If that's a toupee and he paid for it he sure better be asking for his money back. That hair is a train wreck. Matching Rats Hitler look for style points.

This will never happen. Paulus has been negatively recruiting against Duke since he got to tOSU and is universally disliked by the fanbase.
My dad was a dook fan, my mom a Heels fan. So I grew up liking them both. My disdain for dook began when Knight LIte became their coach. Even when he started slowly and people were calling for his head, I told my dad I would never root for dook in basketball again as long as he was their coach.
So I think I'd probably like his successor more, regardless of who it is. ETA: unless it was Obama. It's impossible to dislike a person more than I dislike him!
