The UNC System President thinks he gets to choose who UNC hires in the athletic department? UNC System crap
What if he or she down the road does not want UNC football after Belichik is gone to hire (fill in a name).
The UNC System Prez IMO has no business getting into the UNC "at Chapel Hill" athletic department decisions being funded by alumni, donors, the Rams Club and athletic dept funds.
He/She should be focusing on getting academic money for all the UNC System schools and stay out our athletic business at Carolina. I seriously doubt WCU wants that jackass blocking them hiring sports coaches from his little academic throne.
I am guessing the UNC faculty that hate sports sent numerous complaints to the UNC System Prez belittling him for not having the power to stop UNC from being a "rogue football factory" tarnishing the "University's image" worldwide across academia.
I see lawsuits in the future if this jackass or his follow-on jackass block UNC or ncsu from hiring a really good coach. 1 person cannot speak for an entire University, especially when they are not even in charge of that University.
