Interesting that a solid majority of ACC teams have moved up. IIRC, Pomeroy initially had the ACC ranked 4th among conferences. Now we're 2nd (between the Big 12 and the Big East).

Interesting to me that State has moved more than BC considering State's marquee win is not as good as BC's, but I assume it also has State's losses as better than BC's losses.

Thinking back to the beginning of the season, I thought State was underranked by a lot. If Abu gets all the way back, these guys will be dangerous.

It is pre-conference stuff, I don't pay much attention to this kind of thing because 1 good win catapults a team higher than they will settle in to. Example, duke gets a good win over MSU but MSU seems to always come out weak and then build in to something solid, BC beats duke but that may be their high water mark for the season. We lose to MSU on the last day of an 11 day west coast road trip with our best if not second best outside shooter still not having played for us and Joel was just coming back from an injury and getting his game legs.

My point is what you see now is not what you will see late season, in truth duke will get better, not sure how we will go when we get in to the conference slate due to our really inexperienced front line, we could get much better or we could fade. FSU always looks strong with the annual length they throw at ya but they find a way to fade, Uva finds a way to hang in the upper tier, LVill has the big time talent, ND will always be a threat, Miami you can always flip a coin with. On state, they will be better coached now but I don't see them hanging at the top once ACC play gets rolling.
