In a word consistency.

In a few words, our team has not been playing good basketball all at once.

Instead of learning each others strengths and weaknesses to learn how to minimize and maximize, everyone has been slumping or disappearing at different times which is basically making it so no one knows what to expect from the others.

Like when you play pick up and a team of above average players can beat a team of great players due to playing together so much, I feel our team isn't learning that cohesiveness due to never having everyone playing consistent.

It might just be who we are. But, I think if everyone can play consistent (and consistent doesnt mean making every shot or not having a bad game. But being reliable to do what is expected such as being in right posiitions or taking shots in certain spots, etc) then we can definitely become a lot stronger and better come tourney time.

Yeah, this basically echoes what I think in a way. I think this team is good enough to survive some subpar play. However, they can't survive bad play from several guys against good teams. If they will just get decent play from everyone I think they are the best team in the country along with OU. Some guys are going to play well in every game. Balance that with the other guys being ok and we are fine. Put that with other guys being bad and we are not fine.
