Saw the highlights. I love the excuse that Wilder is using about his costume, that he chose to wear! Was it Halloween? Just wear a robe!
Also he and his head trainer are giving Mark Breland crap for throwing in the towel, but it looked like the referee was about to stop it anyway.

someone is tweeting videos of wilder in the corner after one of the rounds, maybe the 6th, and he is damn near asleep...he’s being held up by the trainer and there’s so much blood coming out of his ear.

Wilder was completely outclassed. He apparently had a terrible camp. I'm sure that ridiculous costume did take a bit out of him, but he chose it so screw that excuse. Meanwhile Fury put on tons of weight and everyone already knew that he was far and away the more technical fighter. Wilder is one of the most overrated fighters I've ever seen. He's a one trick pony in a division that has suffered since Lennox Lewis' reign. He would have been outclassed and knocked out repeatedly in other eras. He took advantage of a terrible field and ran up that KO record.

Fury is a pretty good heavyweight but still a ways away from great heavyweights of other eras. But I do hope the Fury/Joshua fight happens and sooner rather than later when no one will care.

The coolest thing about Tyson was his minimalist approach. Black shoes, black trunks and he usually came out with a towel that had been cut over him. And he didn't need Chuck D in the building but Welcome To The Terrordome on the loud speaker was so fitting and just a badass way for a fighter to make his way to the ring.
