BRICE JOHNSON (16 points and 14 rebounds tonight) has double-doubles in each of the first three games this season and 13 for his career. This is the first time he has registered double-doubles in three consecutive games in his career. He did grab double-figures rebounds in three straight games last year against Florida State, Syracuse and Louisville but he scored in double figures in only the first two games.
BRICE JOHNSON’s 14 rebounds equal the second-most in his career (17 vs. East Carolina and 14 vs. FSU last year).
ISAIAH HICKS scored a season-high 12 points. It is the eighth double-figure scoring game of his career and the first in his last 15 games.
NATE BRITT made Carolina’s only three-pointer. Britt is 8 for 12 from three-point range this season.
