The tournament’s No. 1 seed, North Carolina remained undefeated as it knocked off No. 5 seed Clemson, 17-7, on Friday, while No. 2 seed Boston College downed No. 3 seed Stanford, 16-9.
The championship game will be played on Sunday, April 27, at noon ET, with ACC Network’s coverage beginning at 11:30 a.m. ET. UNC is seeking its eighth ACC Championship, while Boston College is aiming for its third after winning back-to-back titles in 2023 and 2024.
BC and UNC played on April 5 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, with UNC rallying from an early 4-0 deficit to down the Eagles, 12-11. This marks the 12th matchup of the nation’s No. 1 and 2 teams since women’s lacrosse became an official ACC sport offering in 1997, with the last four coming between Boston College and North Carolina (UNC is 3-0 in the previous three No. 1 vs. No. 2 games with BC).

Great finish to oust BC who had won the last two ACCT. Now it's onto the NCAAT with a much bigger prize at stake, this is a team that will not quit. Congrats on being ACCT Champions for 2025.
Northwestern will always be there, but during the regular season BC and UNC defeated Northwestern on their home filed. Princeton and Florida will provide stiff competition as well. Strange that they have as of today ranking based upon RPI, BC, UNC, Princeton and Florida as the top 4 teams. BC strength of schedule is number 3 and UNC is number 6, even though UNC beat BC twice this season.
