Women's LAX - Ranked #2

They came out with a vengeance.
Pay back for their loss to them during the regular season, next up is BC which dismantled ND. Will be rooting for them today to win the tournament, and go into the NCAA tournament with some momentum.

What was the outcome of the game today?
Found it--we lost 11-9.

John do you give them any chance of making it to the final four of the tournament?
Based on regular-season, it will be tough but I wouldn’t say impossible. They will need to play well though. A so-so performance won’t get the job done.

Well, sort of expected this, but they do have a young team with most of the players returning next season.

I am surprised there aren't any write ups about this years team. They look like they are back and healthier and stronger than ever.

UNC women's defeated Northwestern in IL., last night 15-12, currently UNC is ranked No#2 in the nation with a 10-0 record. Boston College is ranked No#1 with a 12-0 record. Both teams are 5-0 in conference play, with their nearest competitor for second place at 3-2. UNC and Boston College meet on 4/5/2025 at Chapel Hill, which will probably be for the ACC regular season Championship and the No# 1 rankings.

UNC women are still ranked number one in the country after beating California 21-7 today in Chapel Hill. Their final game of the season before the ACCT will be against Duke in Durham on 4/17/2025. Duke enters the contest with a 6-2 conference record, and 12-3 overall.

I watched the match today on ACCN. Total domination. Only team i am concerned about is BC. But not even that much. This is another wonder squad for coach Levy

They are all teams that excel, are fun to watch and teams we should all be very proud of.
I agree, and I am...hope you didn't think I was belittling them in any way. I wasn't. I'm as proud of them as I am of any UNC athlete, and that's saying something.

The teams I mentioned have all taken their turns at representing us in the most foot-forward way possible, and that is why I mentioned them that way.
