if you go to Carolina....... This is what JB said yesterday was a typical line from "rival" coaches/ recruiters about his going to Carolina Guess they were wrong eh???

Thanks to JB Theo and the rest of them for having faith in Roy and TRUSTING HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GO HEELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another example of his intelligence as compared to some mental light weights that fell for that stupid line! (I'm looking at you Laura and Brandy!)

JB and Theo are two of the best people that happen to play bball in our illustrious history!

Joel, Theo and Justin went about their business with the upmost integrity and have proved them all wrong as they have played in 15 NCAAT games with 13 wins. And isn't it so great that it doesn't even end there because with this tourney Joel and Theo have a chance to break the Carolina record for NCAAT wins by getting 4 more wins, so what does that mean another trip to the FINAL FOUR and once again they will make history.

It can't be said enough that the impact that those 3 have left and will leave on Carolina will last forever. They are certainly 3 of the great ones.

they, along with JJ, Brice, Meeks, Hicks, Paige are a big reason the program didn't turn into Indiana or UConn. They are just as important as other cores like Lawson, Green, Hansbrough, Ellington or Felton, May, Jawad, Manual, (sorry McCants, you dug your own grave)

Well said. You’re 100% correct.

I still can'r believe we almost won 2 National Championships back to back while Kentucky and Took were getting all the recruits. LOL Makes me chuckle when I think about what there fans went through watching that.

I have to believe that if we win the first Title game that the roster changes for the following year, in addition, the desire or ultimate drive to go back and take care of the unfinished business just does not rise to the same level as what we witnessed last season.

jmhho

I'll take our players over theirs any day of the week and twice on Selection Sunday.

Hate to be that guy, but hadn't they already commited before the NCAA returned? IIRC, Willingham was going on her PR tour at the time, but I don't recall sanctions being a threat until summer of 2014.

I believe their were already rumblings on the recruiting trail, if memory serves me correctly. Could be wrong though. Regardless they definitely could have transferred once news broke, then petitioned the NCAA to be immediately eligible. The NCAA likely would.have granted the request just to shove the knife in a little deeper

Talking about a similar thing in another related thread. Both of those 2013 and 2014 classes should be greatly appreciated for their "Ride or Die" mentality as players at UNC. Weaker minds would of gone elsewhere.
