If he does not sign with the MLB team that drafts him, he will have 3 years to play both sports in a Major conference and decide maturely which sport he prefers to try as a career.Sure wish he would play football but oh well.
That spot slotted at 3.5 million dollars... Sorry to say but I would think the only time he steps foot on campus is to visit PopsAdams goes to Angels at #17. No UNC blue in his future.
Yeah, you pretty much have to take that. That spot slotted at 3.5 million dollars... Sorry to say but I would think the only time he steps foot on campus is to visit Pops
Yeah, seems like Carolina has had more than their fair share not come to campus.Sucks had to happen to UNC but good luck Jordyn. Baseball recruiting can be really cruel
Hope he’s the 1 and only in this year’s classYeah, seems like Carolina has had more than their fair share not come to campus.
You don't have to. If he takes that, he is all but deciding that his Pro future is in baseball, because the Royals will demand full time baseball. If he now sees football as his preference, he will be best served playing both sports at UNC for 3 years, and then deciding.Yeah, you pretty much have to take that.
$3 million is more than almost every person in the country will make in their whole life. No one is forcing him to take it, but he'd be crazy not to given all the risk involved. I think I read somewhere that his first love was baseball, so there is no logical reason to not take it. It would be purely emotional if he didn't take it.You don't have to. If he takes that, he is all but deciding that his Pro future is in baseball, because the Royals will demand full time baseball. The odds are against him doing that, but it is a good option as long as he really wants to play football and thinks he may have at least as good a shot at the NFL as MLB.
