as it currently stands. North Carolina is talented and deep on the perimeter. Elliot Cadeau. R.J. Davis, Seth Trimble, Cade Tyson, Ian Jackson, and Drake Powell may combine to feature one of the very best perimeter games in the country. It could be the perfect time to play a more modern NBA type of offensive system with an open post. Play Jalen Washington either in the dunker spot, and/or use him as a ball-screener to lift the defense. Nobody in the NBA posts up on the ball side any longer. It clogs up driving lanes.

I watched Kentucky have a problem with Oscar Tshiebwe because he was a back to the bucket big. They didn't have any of those type of frontcourt players last year, and averaged 90 points per game. Nate Oats has never had a post up big. The prerequisite for the center is to rim protect, rebound, rim run, and ball-screen. I know that dominant big man has been a staple in the Carolina offensive attack, but it's not the end of the world if that is no longer the case. In fact, it might be the perfect time to transition.
