IF, he can stay focus long enough that dude should have crazy status. Hell he could play himself into a TOP 5 pick which I certainly believe he can do just that. I see Brice easy putting up 20pts 10 bd 2blks 3 asst. Go Heels!!
Wow...nothing like lofty expectations.
I think Brice could play his way into the first round with good all around play. I hesitate to put stats on him because I don't think it's about that. I think him showing a better understanding of the game and situations would go a long way - especially on the defensive end. And I don't think he'll be a 20 and 10 guy simply because of the style Roy plays and our depth. I guess I could see Brice average 15 and 8 and a couple blocks. But more importantly, I'd like to see his FG% at 55% or better.

Brice has the skills, he simply needs to put on 20lbs of muscle and learn how to use it!
As an aside, I think Henson is a budding DPOY type star. I don't know if his offense will ever come around enough for him to be a starter on a good team. But he is one of the most underrated defensive players in the NBA. His per 36 minute average for rebounds is over 10 and for blocks it's 4. Just for some perspective, DeAndre Jordan and Anthony Davis have per 36 minute averages for rebounds and blocks of 12.4 and 2.4 and 10.2 and 2.7, respectively. He'll be a combine freak, similarly the way JP is shooting up boards right now.
I hope he finds a John Henson type role on a team in the league, he could have a very nice career.

Since he's a 13 and 8 guy now shooting 57% you certainly aren't going out on a limb.
If he can stay on the floor longer (closer to 30min a game) and improve at a reasonable rate, I could see him getting close to 17-9.

Agree. He'll have a long career as a specialist, which is just fine. I've always really liked John's game and I'm glad he seems to have found a good home in Mil.
That's the point. Why are we expecting a great jump in Brice's offensive production? He's a good offensive player. He always has been. What will get him into the first round of next June's draft is not improving his offensive production. It will be other aspects of his game that I've spoken to - his defense, his court and situational awareness, etc.
Plus, with Paige healthy and with Jackson coming on like he did down the stretch of last year, if Brice's production jumps that much, that's a sign that Marcus and Justin aren't getting it done. Like I said, I think it's reasonable to think he could improve to 15 or 16 ppg. Hopefully Marcus gets back to the 17 ppg we saw from him his sophomore season. And Jackson, frankly could and maybe should lead the leam in the scoring. Throw in the Joel Berry effect (wherever you might stand on that debate), Hicks eating up some minutes and Pinson, who is maybe a slightly better offensive player than JP and there's just not enough room for Brice to grow to a 20 point scorer and like I said above, I don't necessarily think he should be that. The only caveat there is that I would hope his FT% improves substantially. If he could be around 75%, that would be huge and would maybe earn him another 2 ppg.
Disclaimer - I'm shocked to learn Brice's FG% last year was .566. That surprised the hell out of me. I honestly thought he was hovering around 50%.
My biggest shock about Brice was learning that Meeks blocked more shots than Brice last year. I understand that he needed to avoid foul trouble but I would've guessed he'd block twice as many as Meeks before the season started.
