I find myself strangely drawn to this show despite some teen angst drama. The karate sequences are totally Idiotic and unrealistic and no one gets a black belt in a couple months. but Overall the story line is good. Some lol moments. I’m most impressed by the actor playing Johnny. But Ralph macchiao...god he’s horrible.

i love this show, it's pretty funny...no overuse of language or metaphors that make it too much like superbad, but it reminds me of that movie.

and you're spot on about the two lead actors; macchiao is horrible and johnny is great.

Wife and I watched the first 2 seasons and enjoyed the nostalgia. Hope Elisabeth Shue makes an appearance in season 3.

It’s bizarre. I would def watch “Johnny” in something else. He makes the show.
