I'm really surprised at how low the spread was... why does Vegas have such a boner for the Heels? Don't they ever watch our defense in action?

Nice to see the defense use the bye week to improve. A couple of weeks ago, this team gives up 60. Big win to only give up 44.

Could be doesn't count. It's what it should be, and is 4-4. They'll lose to Wake by a LOT. They'll lose to Pitt. They'll probably beat Wofford. I'm not sure about ncsu, yet.
I think it's obvious that the defense is the biggest impediment. The defense has allowed about 80 points per game, regardless of the opponent.
And, next year, we won't have Howell! Soooo... expect an even worse season!

The sad part about this is that it doesn't bother me. I've just resigned myself to knowing how bad this team is. I just hope I'm wrong about Hubert.
Howell is dragging a two win team to 5 wins. There's no doubt he's ready and the scouts know that.
