Excellent series. I'm on The Pacific now, and man, after only 2 episodes, it's already heavy. The Pacific Theater seems like it was incredibly brutal.

I own the DVD's, but still find myself binge watching it whenever it's on; it's absolutely one of the best series EVER!

The Pacific is very good as well, but as mentioned much more brutal. Shooting your enemy was necessary during wartime, but using a flamethrower on them seems inhumane (I know you do what you got to do to win the war, but just my $.02).
