With baseball season approaching, Carolina Athletics has published information on a variety of fan experience elements that fans can expect when attending a baseball game this season.

BALLPARK ENTRY
Gates and ticket booths at Boshamer Stadium will open to the general public 60 minutes before first pitch.

MOBILE TICKETING
With an increased emphasis on safety, security and convenience for fans, Carolina Athletics is implementing digital tickets for all athletic events, including baseball. Fans will be receiving tickets via email to print prior to arrival or to display on their mobile phone rather than a physical ticket.

All digital tickets will be sent from tickets@unc.edu with a link to your tickets, allowing fans to download mobile tickets into their Apple Wallet (iPhone) or Google Pay Wallet (Android), or print their print-at-home tickets prior to arrival in Chapel Hill.

For more information on digital tickets, visit our FAQ page.

Carolina Athletics encourages fans to download the GoHeels Mobile App for added ease of mobile ticketing. The GoHeels Mobile App is available on the App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your device.

CASHLESS VENUE
In efforts to improve the flow and speed of transactions, Boshamer Stadium will move to cashless payments this season and will require a debit or credit card for purchase of tickets, concessions, and merchandise.

CONCESSIONS AND ALCOHOL SALES
Select beer, seltzer, and other 21+ beverages will continue to be available for purchase at multiple locations around Boshamer Stadium. New for the 2023 season, two new walk-thru-brew setups have been added to the main concourse to improve the purchasing experience! All fans will be required to show proper identification to purchase any alcoholic beverages. Alcohol will be sold until the start of the bottom of the seventh inning and will be limited to two alcoholic drinks per order.

Boshamer Stadium offers a traditional concessions menu, with a few surprises mixed in. Menu includes All Beef Kayem Hot Dogs, Italian Sausages, Brats, Burgers, Bojangles Chicken Supremes, and other concessions classics. Other special treats include Maui WOWI Smoothies, Dippin' Dots, Funnel Cakes, Cotton Candy, and more! Look for our home stand menu specials and exclusive ballpark offerings all season long.

Fans are allowed to bring in outside food and non-alcoholic beverages into Boshamer Stadium.

GAMEDAY PARKING
Weekday Games
There are generally two public parking options available for games that begin prior to 5 p.m.:
• Raleigh Road (NC 54) Lot
• Rams Head Parking Deck ($5 per game or $1.75 per hour depending on arrival time)

Weeknight Games
General public parking is available on a first-come-first serve basis after 5 p.m. on weeknights & weekends in unreserved lots. On weeknights (5 p.m. – 7:30 a.m., Monday through Friday), campus lots require a valid weeknight parking permit or $1 one-night temporary pass. Parking remains free in unreserved lots during weekend hours (beginning Friday at 5 p.m. through Monday at 7:30 a.m.)

Suggested Weeknight Parking:
• Stadium Drive
• School of Government Deck
• Bowles Lot

Additionally, the Rams Head Parking Deck and the Raleigh Road Lot almost always have available parking. Beginning as early as two hours prior to game time, until approximately 30 minutes after the first pitch, baseball parking will be available first-come-first serve for $5 upon entry (entry stub valid until approximately 45 minutes after the end of the game). Fans arriving prior to or after game operations will incur a $1.75 per hour parking fee, if choosing to park in available spaces in the Rams Head Deck.

Paid parking is going cashless! The best ways to pay parking fees are with credit/debit card or by using the ParkMobile app.
