CHAPEL HILL --- North Carolina plays its final game before breaking for final exams Tuesday when the Tar Heels host UNCG at 6 p.m. at Boshamer Stadium. Carolina has won six straight to improve to 29-15 and will send lefty freshman Hunter Williams to the mound against the Spartans. UNCG is 19-20 on the year, but the visitors from Greensboro have won consecutive Southern Conference series against The Citadel and Mercer. NORTH CAROLINA-UNCG SERIES HISTORY
• North Carolina is 16-5 all-time against UNCG in a series that began in 1992.
• Carolina and UNCG last met in 2012 and split a pair of games. The Tar Heels claimed a 5-1 win in Greensboro before the Spartans took an 8-4 decision at Boshamer Stadium.
• The UNCG win snapped Carolina's seven-game winning streak in the series and was the Spartans' first victory in Chapel Hill in 13 tries.
 
Yeah I'm hoping this team is just getting ready to hit the stride. Not only have they won 6 in a row. But also 12 of there last 15. GO HEELS!!!!!

UNC-G wins 5-3, 14 hits off of UNC pitchers. UNC continues have difficulties leaving runners on the bases, just cannot get the timely hits to drive them home. DP to end the game for UNC-G.
