NORTH CAROLINA-FLORIDA STATE SERIES HISTORY
• North Carolina is 31-67 all-time against Florida State, including an 19-32 record under head coach Mike Fox.
• Carolina has dropped four of five against the Seminoles over the last three seasons. In the last regular season series between the two programs, FSU took two of three in Chapel Hill in 2014. The Noles also beat UNC in the ACC tournament in both 2014 and 2015.
• The Tar Heels and Seminoles did not play in 2016 and have not met in Tallahassee since 2011. Carolina took two of three from Florida State that season to mark the Tar Heels’ first series win at Dick Howser Stadium since 1995.
• UNC is 7-22 in Tallahassee since the Seminoles joined the ACC.

QUICK HITS
• Carolina ranks second in the ACC and sixth nationally in pitching with a staff ERA of 2.45.
• UNC has started ACC play with series wins over divisional foes Virginia, Georgia Tech and Miami. This marks the first time the Tar Heels have won series against those three in the same season since 2009.
• Carolina allowed five runs or fewer in each of the first 23 games of the 2017 season. That was the longest such streak in 106 seasons. The Tar Heels went 25 straight without allowing more than five across the 1910 and 1911 campaigns.
• Redshirt freshman closer Josh Hiatt has nine saves, tops in the ACC and second-most nationally. Hiatt is now one shy of the UNC single-season top 10 in the category.
• Junior shortstop Logan Warmoth has reached base in 40 consecutive games dating back to last season. He also has a team-high 14 stolen bases in 15 attempts, topping his previous career high of 11 steals in 2015. His 14 steals rank second in the ACC and seventh nationally.
• Junior J.B. Bukauskas ranks second in the ACC and 14th in the NCAA in ERA with an 0.90 mark over 40.0 IP. He ranks in the top 10 nationally in strikeouts (60), K/9 (13.50) and WHIP (0.750).
• Freshman Gianluca Dalatri leads the ACC in innings pitched with 41.2 in six starts, an average of almost seven innings per outing.
