You're absolutely right Billy, which is a crying shame. He's too "liberal" for most old-school GOP supporters. IMO, of those that have officially announced, he is the best option. With that said though, there are better options that are still undecided. As of now, Paul would be my choice for the GOP nomination.

The problem I have with Rand is that he makes a statement one day and then back tracks from it the next day. Frankly there aren't any GOP candidates that I would feel comfortable with in the White House. And for the record, I aint real thrilled with Hilary either.
