He called an impromptu news conference yesterday to complain that the press AJC and The State were writing negative articles and not the things about his team that he wanted. They had written that he is old and the teams is on a decline. By the way he is the oldest FB coach ever in the SEC pointed out by the writer. The writer also pointed out if he was looking for fluff pieces maybe he needed to talk to the "Spurs and Feathers" or what ever the school paper is called.Article on 247.

Kinda curious that he wasn't old when he was 67, 68, or 69 and his record was 11-2, 11-2, 11-2.

The old age issue was basically started by him last year when he said he would coach 2-3 more years and caused 7 recruits to flip. He is the oldest coach ever to coach FB in the SEC. Even bama with Bear and UK with Rupp sent legends into retirement.

He's old. Doesn't like to recruit the way 4 and 5 star talent likes to be recruited. These days, if you want the top talent you must be prepared to suck up. His ego won't allow this. After he got Lattimore and Clowney he quit recruiting and USCe football is paying the price. He's a desperate man.
