Didn't realize G-W was having such a great season. Man, if I lived closer, I'd try to skip out of work to be there.

Okay, I was curious, so had to look up GW's opponents and their records through this point in the season. The results are not flattering:

Delaware State: 0-11 (including 0-3 vs. Fairfield, who UNC just swept as well)
Iona: 1-6
NC A&T: 2-7
Rider: 0-8
Total: 3-32

That's a combined 8.6% winning percentage by their opponents. Not to take anything away from the Bulldogs but that's not exactly murderer's row.

They gave us a good scare by cutting Carolina's lead to 6-5 in the 7th. Fortunately the Heels answered with authority. I was pleased to see their response to put the game away.
