No surprise, SEC dominated. However, ACC (specifically FSU) did well:

#2: Notre Dame - FSU (13.25 million viewers)
#5: FSU - Georgia Tech (ACCCG -- 10.1 million viewers)
#7: FSU - Miami (8.74 million viewers)
#8: FSU - Clemson (8.1 million viewers)

All the rest of the Top 10 is SEC matchups. The Big 12, Big 10, and Pac12 were involved in ZERO of the Top 10 viewed games this season..... (link below)

ABC reported 8.23 million viewers for Michigan/Ohio State, which would have placed that game 8th on the list. There are a few other questionable items but the message is basically the same.

Here are UNC games by number of viewers with rankings in parentheses:

Notre Dame: 3.19 million viewers (76th)
dook: 1.44 million viewers (142nd)
ECU: 682,000 viewers (224th)
Clemson: 680,000 viewers (225th)
Georgia Tech: 461,000 viewers (259th)
San Diego State: 260,000 viewers (304th)

Of course this list excludes regional carriers like Raycom, which carried our games against Miami, NC State, VT, Pitt, and Virginia. Also excludes Liberty which was on ESPN3.

That's an example of why the smart people associated with the Big Ten, and also the Big 12, are scared about the future of ACC football. The reality is that if Miami gets back to having good teams once in a while and a school like UNC actualy builds football, ACC football will draw TV viewers in very large numbers.

Get ND into the mix as a full member, and we probabkly pass the Big Ten for the 2nd largets number of TV viewers for CFB.
