• Carolina is 7-0 in ACC road games this year, the 12th time in Williams’ 16 seasons UNC has posted a winning record on the road in ACC play.
• This is the fourth time in the Roy Williams Era the Tar Heels have won at least seven ACC road games (7 in 2006, 8 in 2008, 7 in 2012 and seven with two road games to play in 2019).
• Williams is 86-47 in ACC road games, a percentage of .647 that is second-highest in ACC history.
• Carolina had 20 assists, the 14th time this season the Tar Heels have assisted on 20 or more field goals. UNC is 14-0 when it has 20 or more assists.
• Carolina shot 50.7 percent from the floor. The Tar Heels are 9-0 this season and 210-7 under Roy Williams when shooting 50 percent from the floor.
• The Tar Heels shot 57.1 percent in the second half, the seventh time in the last nine games UNC has 50 percent or better in the second half.
• The Tar Heels came into the game averaging a school-record 9.1 threes per game, but made only 2 of 20 tonight (one each by Luke Maye and Coby White). The two threes are a season low for the Tar Heels (previous was three in the home loss to Louisville).
• Carolina’s three-point percentage (.200) was the lowest in a win since UNC was 4 for 27 (.148) against Gonzaga in the 2017 NCAA championship game.
• Carolina scored 62 of its 88 points in the paint. The 62 points are the most by Carolina this season in an ACC game and the second most in any game (64 against Tennessee Tech). The previous high in an ACC game this year was 50 in the home win over NC State.
• Carolina never trailed and led for all but 34 seconds.

Tar Heel Notes
• Luke Maye scored 30 points and had a game-high 15 rebounds. It was his third career 30/15 game (vs. Boston College and NC State last year) and just the second by a Tar Heel against Duke. Billy Cunningham had 31 points and 16 rebounds, also at Duke, on Feb. 23, 1963.
• It was Maye’s fifth career 30-point game and his fourth against a Triangle-based team (three against NC State and one against Duke).
• It was Maye’s ninth career game with 15 or more rebounds.
• Maye’s 15 rebounds increase his career total to 821. He passed Jason Capel (807), Mike O’Koren (815) and Bobby Jones (817) to move into 18th place in UNC history.
• It was Maye’s fifth career 30-point/10-rebound game. He is tied for the third most 30/10 games all-time by a Tar Heel. Only Lennie Rosenbluth and Billy Cunningham have more and Maye is tied with Charlie Scott, Antawn Jamison and Mitch Kupchak with five.

• Even with the 0 for 4 from beyond the arc, Johnson is 26 of 46 in 3FGs in Carolina’s seven ACC road wins this year.
• Garrison Brooks had 14 points and eight rebounds. It was his ninth double-figure scoring game of the season and the most since he had 20 in the season opener at Wofford.
