Watched many a college football game in the 70s, 80s & 90s with the man calling the plays on TV.

There's a "real barn burner" going on in heaven right now.

I don't recall him ever broadcasting a Carolina football game. I could be wrong about that, but I too enjoyed his call each time.

One of if not the all-time best. As soon as you heard his voice you knew it was a big game. His greatest gift may have been knowing when to say nothing at all. Rest in peace, Mr. Jackson.
