Why is everyone hiring Leach disciples

I'd hire him in minute. Anybody that can win big in Lubbock, TX, and Pullman, Wash, can win anywhere. But Leach is a handful. While greatly entertaining, isn't exactly the most PC guy ever. And has a reputation of being difficult to manage, as stories float that he is going to do what he wants and could care less what any superior may think about it. But many want that offensive system he put together over the years. So his students seem to get jobs. Like Kingsbury. Very average at Texas Tech. Got fired because if it. Yet gets an NFL job because he is a supposed offensive guru. Go figure.
He would have won here. But to get recruiting going, and to excite a pretty apathetic fan base, I think Mack was the best hire they could have made.

That sounds like fun for a bunch of guys who after class head to the bar and grill where Leach gets started on topics such as mothers-in-law, menopause, when your daughter starts dating, and why soccer is a sport for girls.

Would be an interesting class to take. As a football coach he often seems a little out there, but does win. But he is brilliant. Very few football coaches that have a law degree. And he loves history. Figure one would learn just as much from his view on history as the norm spewed out by the traditional professor stiffs
