Anyone watching this opening game . . ? Its been a great one to view. Bottom of the 9th solo home run by the KC Royals' Alex Gordon to tie the game 4-4 . . now headed for extra innings.

Being an old National League fan I am definitely pulling for the Mets.

I'm flipping back and forth between it and the Golden State game right now. Being a Reds fan I'm pulling for KC because of Cueto and Volquez.

Matt Harvey has pitched a great game thru 8 tonight. Probably will pull him for the ninth but what a performance!

as a nats fan I was all in on the Royals. I CANNOT stand the Mets, other than Harvey
Bottom line Royals are just BETTER and deserved to win .They hit VERY VERY well WHEN THEY NEED IT!

HOPE that Rizzo will start to construct a lineup a la the Royals.

Congrats to the Royals. My God that team can hit as well as any other I've seen. I was hoping the series would go at least 6 games . .
