I disagree with the main points brought up here. Yes, there are a few elite teams dominating recruiting right now, but that won't always be the same teams every year. It's cyclical. In 2001, Miami was the class of college football. Look at them now.
These elite teams also force other programs to elevate themselves with smarter coaching hires which in most cases will improve their recruiting classes and thus spreading the talent wealth out farther.
