Would have really liked for Forbes to keep Lynch in there and see what he could have done. Pitched great all game, would rather have had the rest of that inning on his shoulders. This one stings BAD. This team should be going to Omaha. Really thought that this was the team that was going to have the best shot of winning it all in quite a while.

What drives me crazy the most, is that Carolina was the better team overall. But you can't make critical errors like were made, and the runners left on base were so costly. Carolina should've had at minimum 7 runs yesterday. I'm sooooo bummed about this loss, I really wanted this for this group.

I was 10 and just really starting to understand the game. This was the first UNC team I really remember watching. Ford is still my GOAT in terms of UNC basketball.

The E was really on the 1st baseman Federovicz (sp?), but may have been given to the 2nd baseman Frank Steed. Feddy was a catcher but playing 1st in that spot, not sure why. That may have been more on Fox.

According to the UVA athletic web site, the tournament will be played at Scott Stadium
in Charlottesville.
Unfortunately for your friend, the Hoos will not be one of the four finalists.

Questionable decision-making on pitching changes and the inability to get hits with
RISP during the last two games contributed to the losses.
