Daily Drop: UNC Basketball's Euopean Revolution?!

Super unlikely - demographically very short and almost all the athletic men play rugby league.

Tanner should be at the U19 worlds this month - not to find players, but to see the players UNC has already missed…. and then work out where they’re coming from.

Hint: there’ll be one team there with the brothers of two current NBA players and a 7-2 centre who’s in this year’s draft.

Was having some fun with it.

Since you like alternate versions or covers of things, I thought I'd post this for you. After you've watched it a few times (I know you will), I'll just go ahead and tell you that the music is Travis Tritt's version of Honky Tonk Woman.

that actually was pretty awesome, both the dancing and the music. I hope you didn't think you had to tell me that was 'Honky Tonk Women', but then I would have had no idea it was Travis Tritt. That might be the first thing I've ever heard him sing. And I liked it better than the Stones' original version, which TBH I'm not particularly fond of. So thanks.

When I think alternate versions, I remember the Russian band covering Steely Dan's 'My Old School' live that someone posted here awhile back. They killed it and I liked it better than the original. Hard to top Steely Dan in my book but really cool that they tried....and succeeded.

this is a really good find. I had a small discussion with strum where I opined that the original, while not exactly a rock standard, was catchy. He on the other hand crapped on it. But we both agreed that the lead guy has amazing range. This version highlights his highly appealing voice well, IF that is in fact the original guy.

I am surprised to learn of the Parkinson's.
