The democrats even conceded within 24 hours! They admitted they lost.

Hey! Let's bitch about the one we still lost 4 years ago!
your feelings seem to be hurt. Are your feelings hurt?. They sure seem to be. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. I'm sorry Trump made you look foolish because of your fixation on him. You'll get over it. Or not, probably.

and of course because I comment on something that I have previously contended, to you I'm 'fixated' on it. I think you are now ahead in the irony competition, as truly fixated as you have always been on your favorite virtue-signal topics. Get a mirror, dude.
When DON'T you "comment on what you've previously contended?"

Trump lost the 2020 election... and he refused to concede. He's a shit-heel in American politics for doing it and lying about it. He won yesterday... move-the-fvck-on.

First time in 20 yrs.

But is it because he's popular and his concepts of policies are popular? I still am not sure what his policies are? Taxes on tips? Tariffs? Replace Obamacare (TrumpyCare)? Expanding the child tax credit? He's promised these. In his acceptance he literally said "We're going to fix everything about our country"

Or is it just incumbent backlash due to inflation?
It's probably a lot of things. I don't know Trump's "policies" either. I'll ride it out like I have many times before.

I can tell you this... Sticking dozens and dozens of multi-millionaire celebrities on your stage and welcoming endorsements from mf'ers like Dick Cheney ain't helping shit. Trump actually got my sympathies when he calls them out for their propensity to send US military off to kill other people and take their resources.

Inflation sucks. It doesn't matter how it happened... it didn't happen when Trump was IN OFFICE. That's how a lot of people see it, is my guess.

Trump lost the 2020 election. He lost it by a lot. There's no conspiracy. JFC... you're as bad as Trump. Fixated on what you lost instead of realizing what you won.

this bears out my complaint about the '20 election. This election theoretically should have inspired at least as many, and IMO more, people to vote; but that apparently isn't the case. Votes were collected from a very many people in '20 who just wouldn't ordinarily bother to do so, and I am convinced that they had 'help'. Kamala losing by far the lion's share of those fewer votes tells me all I need to know to firm up my suspicions that the dems benefited from that bogus election.

And of course I can't prove anything. But there's this thing called common sense.

The best icing on this cake is Trump won the popular vote. Less people voted in 2024, too. Significantly less, in my opinion... given the "stakes" and all the hoopla around it. Trump got 3 million less votes overall and Harris got 15 million less than Biden.

LOL, you're pissed that your party is getting less white man and more black/brown man. If the trend holds, eventually your party will be mostly uneducated black people and brown migrants.

so what are you saying, that uneducated black people and brown migrants are garbage? Less worthy than white, highly educated people? Hypocrite. Some people never learn. We'll collect as many as we can, and give them equal billing.....while you call US racists.

I care, I think it is fascinating to see the choices demographics make. And people rejected certain maga candidates in NC but approved of Trump because... (tbd?). I think the Latino vote is especially interesting. @gunslingerdick was the first place i saw the latino thing, that's pretty interesting given that socioeconomically as a whole they'd benefit from progressive policies on healthcare and education.

And the youth vote is very interesting too.
Yay... maybe?

They might benefit from "progressive policies." Democrats rarely deliver on those. They actually marginalize the people in their party that would implement them. So, why vote for them? In some ways, progressives are determined to perpetuate division based on aesthetics. It may not be intentional, or with malicious intentions... but, trying to isolate "groups" is not bringing them together. And, it sure as hell isn't working for their campaign strategy.
