• Carolina is 1-1 on the road.
• RJ Davis led UNC in scoring for the second time this season and 47th time as a Tar Heel.
• Davis passed Sam Perkins for fourth in UNC career scoring. Davis has 2,159 points. Perkins scored 2,145 from 1980-84.
• Elliot Cadeau (17), Seth Trimble (13) and Davis all scored in double figures for the fourth time in as many games. It is the first time Cadeau and Trimble have scored in double figures four straight games as Tar Heels.
• Cade Tyson scored seven of his nine points in the second half.
• Carolina shot 57.7% from the floor in the second half and 51.9% for the game. It was the third straight game the Tar Heels shot 50% or better in the second half and the second time in a row UNC shot 50% for the game.
• It was the third straight game UNC attempted at least 30 free throws (31 at Kansas, 34 vs. American and 34 at Hawai’i).
• UNC was out-rebounded for the first time this season (27-40).

• Hawai’i scored 14 second-chance points, a season high by an opponent (previous was 10 by American). The Rainbow Warriors scored 12 of those 14 points in the first half.
• Carolina out-scored Hawai’i, 19-1, on fastbreak points. UNC has outscored its last two opponents, 42-1, in fastbreak points.
• Carolina committed a season-low five turnovers. It was the third time in four games UNC committed fewer than 10 turnovers.
• UNC is 6-0 all-time against Hawai’i.
• This was Carolina’s second road game in the first four games this season. UNC and Cal are the only teams in the ACC, Big East, Big Ten, Big 12 and SEC to have played two of its first four games this season on the road.
• This is the 15th season in which Carolina Basketball is playing in Hawai’i and the first since 2016-17.
• The Tar Heels are 17-1 in Honolulu, including 3-0 in the Stan Sheriff Center.
• Overall, Carolina is 35-5 in Hawai’i (including games in Honolulu and Maui).

Georgia Tech and State

It's a close game between Georgia Tech and North Carolina College of A & M. Currently, GT has a two point lead of 16 to 14 at the start of the fourth quarter. I tuned in to see how their quarterback, Bailey, would play. His passing has been pretty good. He just ripped off a long run for a touchdown. Looks pretty mobile. Another backup quarterback that could give us problems.
