Next Up: Orangemen

After a bye week that can be used to get everyone healthy and make some in-season adjustments, the Tar Heels will host Syracuse, which also is 4-0. And this coming week, Cuse hosts Clemson. Clemson is a much better team that the 2 losses suggest. The loss to Dook is a freak anomaly: the only one in school history ion which the Tigers had 200 yards in both passing and rushing yards and still lost. The loss to FSU was all about a 3 play series with the fulcrum being an RB who blocks poorly and never seems to want to block, being left in the game when he was tired. Without that Clemson probably would have hit FSU so hard that series that the game would have been all but over. Instead, it flipped and stayed flipped.

So Syracuse does not have an easy week before traveling to Chapel Hill. And a Cuse W over Clemson would be impressive, marking a more sound 5-0 team than the 2022 Orange were. Right now, Syracuse is not ranked, and that will be locker room talk the next 2 weeks for them. They feel disrespected by polls and other ACC teams. They are hungry to prove that they belong among the ranked teams at the very least.

NCAA, conferences could be forced into major NIL change as lawsuit granted class-action status

Posted Sep 26, 2023
A federal district judge on Friday granted class-action status to the portion of an anti-trust lawsuit against the NCAA and the nation’s top college conferences that challenges the association’s remaining rules regarding athletes’ ability to make money from their names, images and likenesses. If the plaintiffs prevail, the impact could be significant. (USA Today)

Clemson

Tiger Nation is ready to send Dabo packing…They remind me of our fanbase for Bball with Roy Williams….

Last 12 seasons (2011-2022):

11 wins
10 wins
10 wins
14 wins
15 wins
12 wins
14 wins
14 wins
10 wins
11 wins

Also add 8 ACC Titles and 2 National Titles…

Unreal how people are these days no loyalty what so ever….where were they before Dabo…

MLB

It's been at least a decade since I followed baseball. I've recorded a few Braves games this past weekend. It's a different world for me since any name I was familiar with is long gone at this point.
I see they have made a few changes in the game. Time clocks, counts of throwing at runners on base, Bigger bags.
It's kind of a good weird vibe I'm getting. It takes me forever to watch a games due to my work/church/family schedule. But now the games seem to move quicker. Atlanta has a few horses in the stable, so Iv enjoyed what I have saw so far.
So who's your team?
